83rd Wilmington International Exhibition of Photography
WIEP is one of the oldest and most prestigious photography competitions in North America and 2016 is the 83rd edition of the competition. It is a juried exhibition presented by the Delaware Photographic Society where thousands of images are submitted by photographers around the world and 300 of the best prints are on displayed at Arsht Hall, 2700 Pennsylvania Avenue, Wilmington, DE. In 2015 there were 3400 images and 872 entries from 37 countries.
For the 83rd edition of the competition, eight (8) images were accepted for the exhibition:
- Stars above the Arch
- Slot Canyon
- Driftwood
- Fire Rain
- Sunrise with horses
- Mysterious Bride
- Pier in South Carolina
And 3 images received awards:
“Stars above the Arch” was awarded a PSA: Silver medal
“Pier in South Carolina” was awarded a DPS Silver
“Mysterious Bride” was awarded a Ribbon
